Brand consulting and digital system solutions for the liquor industry

Hard problems in this industry rarely come from a lack of tools

A brand spent millions on QR-code cashback campaigns and still could not say whether sell-through had actually moved. A distributor installed a system two years ago and orders are still running through WeChat groups. On-demand orders come in, but stores cannot handle them, and customers order elsewhere. None of this is about technology being out of date. It is about the chain not being connected and the judgment never landing.

What we do

We monitor. Policy, channels, marketing, and consumer trends. New product launches and organizational shifts at liquor brands, changes in how distributors do business, and new technology that can be adapted to this industry.

We judge. Traceable data sourcing, conclusions first. Every judgment can be traced back to its factual source. We do not publish statements we cannot source.

We deliver. Brand consulting and digital system solutions. We start from the business problem, not from a product feature list.

What we have done

Six years, one sector: liquor. We have served three types of clients — a listed liquor company, a large chain of tobacco-and-liquor stores, and a regional on-demand retail platform. We have worked from all three vantage points: brand, distributor, and platform. That is why we understand how a problem travels down the chain.

At a listed liquor company, one million QR-registered users were added in a single year.

At a chain of liquor stores, a heavy flagship store was cut and the location was converted into a lightweight fulfillment node.

In a regional project, a single consumer scan linked the retail outlet and the channel behind it, making product flow traceable.

How we work

Anyone can find a hot topic. The real barrier is a point of view. So we check first, then write. Angles our peers have already covered in full, we do not write. Topics that fail the originality check do not move forward.

We do not dress up common knowledge as insight. We do not present one company's news as an industry trend. Judgments have boundaries. Facts have sources. Where we speculate, we say so.

Who we serve

Brand owners and distributors in the liquor industry.

If you are stuck on a specific problem, we would like to hear about it. We are happy to talk about the problem before we talk about a project.
